RULES FOR YOUTH AT THE Y

As of January 12th, 2026 our YMCA is following the YMCA of the USA guidelines for all youth ages to make sure children are in a safe place in our building and supervised correctly.

Below is a chart that breaks down the ages of where children can be in our Y supervised or unsupervised depending on their age.

Our Pre Teen Room will be open from 4-7pm Monday-Thursdays for 7-10 year olds. This room will also be run like our child care room, meaning they can be “checked in” and a parent can leave the building while the child is in the pre teen room. There is a $5 an hour charge and the child must have a youth membership. If a parent stays in the building, there is no charge and can stay in the room for up to 2 hours.
